Our Services begin here. Our tour executive will pick you up from the location of your choice in New Delhi for a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi. Start your adventure with Old Delhi, a formal capital of the Mughal Dynasty that boasts a plethora of breathtaking monuments.
Visit the massive Red Fort built, by Shah Jahan in 1648, before exploring the colorful Chandni Chowk market by cycle-rickshaw. Shortly after, we will arrive in Jama Masjid. This is the largest mosque in India at the height of 40m where you are able to view Delhi from the minarets of this last architectural project of Shah Jahan.
Drive past Safdarjang’s tomb to visit the highest stone tower in India, the Qutab Minar, a metallurgical marvel that has never rusted since its iron pillar shape was erected in 1199. Later on, we will take you past the earliest example of Mughal architecture, the Tomb of Humayun. Drive through New Delhi on the way to your hotel. New Delhi is a much more recent city and is also known as Lutyens’ Delhi.
The city’s namesake, Edwin Lutyens, was a British architect who was largely responsible for designing the India Gate (a memorial to the martyrs of World War I), Rashtrapati Bhavan (the Presidential House), the Secretariat, the Parliament House, and many other government buildings. Check out of your hotel and set off for the lovely drive to Agra. The journey will take about four hours. Hence an early morning 0700 hrs start is recommended.
Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, had transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire. In Agra, you will be caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, as well as the city’s irresistible charm. Unsurprisingly, modern Agra has held onto its Mughal heritage so that the modern city is blended with old and beautiful monuments.
In the afternoon, your discovery of historic Agra will begin with a visit to the world's greatest monument to love, the Taj Mahal. Emperor Shah Jahan built this pristine white marble mausoleum in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and had taken 22 years and over 20,000 skilled craftsmen from all over the world to create.

Afterwards, visit the red sandstone Agra Fort, built by the Mughal dynasty's greatest Emperor, Akbar, in 1565. A number of the fort’s beautiful palaces, mosques and gardens were built by his successors in later years. A few of the priceless examples of artisanship from the Mughal era include the exquisite Moti Masjid or Pearl Mosque, the Diwan-i-Khas, the Diwan-i-Am, the Jahangir Mahal and the Shish Mahal. Agra is famous for its marble art & manufacturing. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Check out from your hotel in the morning to board your train to Jhansi - a 2 ½ hour journey. After arriving in Jhansi, transfer to a chauffeur driven car for drive to the temple town of Khajuraho; the ancient capital of the Chandela Kings. Khajuraho is known for its magnificent carved temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and the Jain Tirthankaras. These temples were built between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D. These temples represent some of the most exquisite specimens of medieval India, now declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. (Approximately a 4 hour drive).
After arriving at Khajuraho, check in to your hotel. In the late afternoon, venture out to explore the intricately carved temples of Khajuraho, the acme of architectural achievement of the Chandela rulers. Constructed between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D., the intricate workmanship of these exquisite temples defies description.
In the evening, witness an absorbing Sound & Light Show at Western group of temples. Stay overnight at the hotel.
In the morning, set out once again to explore the remainder of the world famous Khajuraho temples. The most important temples are those which belong to the Western Group.
Afterwards; check out of your hotel and commence your drive to Bandhavgarh. The drive from Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh will take approximately six hours. After arriving at Bandhavgarh, check into the resort.
The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is relatively high. The possibility of spotting Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Leopard and Tiger is very good. The Park is also densely populated with animals like the Chital (Spotted Deer), Sambhar, Barking Deer, Nilgai (Blue Bull), Chowsingha (Four Horned Antelope) and is rich in bird life. Enjoy morning and afternoon jungle excursions into the park by jeep and elephants (when available). Packed meals can be taken along and enjoyed within the natural environs of the Park. Stay overnight at the resort.
Check out of the hotel after an early breakfast for the drive to Kanha National Park. The journey will take about six and half hours. After arriving at Kanha, check in to the resort.
Kanha National Park is situated among lush bamboo and sal forests in Madhya Pradesh. The setting for Kipling’s Jungle Book, it came into being in 1955 and is a part of Project Tiger. With an impressive tiger population, it is also known for the preservation of the rare hard ground Swamp Deer. Wildlife here includes sambhar, gaur, chital, bison, and jungle cat, barking deer, black deer, black buck and a variety of other animals as well as a rich variety of the avian species. Very early morning; check out of your hotel and drive down to Jabalpur. The journey from Kanha to Jabalpur would take approximately three and half hours.
After arriving at Jabalpur; board your flight for Delhi. Arrive at Delhi and we will drop you at the location of your choice/International airport in New Delhi. Our services end at Delhi.
